El Cerrito cardboard arcade campers host visitors on final day

On the final day of El Cerrito Recreation’s week-long Cardboard Arcade Camp, children and adult visitors try out the games made by campers.

A wide variety of city summer camp programs continue through Aug. 14 at various locations across El Cerrito.

There is no camp on Friday, July 3, in honor of independence Day.

There are all-day camps that include swimming and field trips. Other camps run three hours morning or afternoon, including junior lifeguarding, tennis, chemistry for kids, chess, dance, ukulele, bees, recycled treasures, textile arts, paper crafts, volleyball, and Slimetopia.
